Bombay Sapphire NZ
Duty Free Branding
Bombay Sapphire marketing, brand building campaign in the airport duty-free sector for Bacardi Global Travel Retail.
A customer-centric marketing campaign entitled "There's something inside", takes inspiration from the menswear designer, Duncan Quinn and New York-based tabla protege, Suphala.
The movement of the spirit vapour inspired the wall-mounted gondola in the unique "Vapour Infusion" process. We created a linear copper basket at the centre of the wall display incorporating 10 exotic ingredients each engraved with botanical drawings of the ingredients.
The violet-blue Star of Bombay
The copper basket holding the 10 botanical ingredients used in the production of Bombay Sapphire has been made by Midland-based CPP, a company that handcrafts metal body parts for exclusive, high-end luxury cars. Their unique highly specialised service is sort after by clients such as Aston Martin, Rolls Royce and Bentley.
BOTANICAL AROMAS
The taste of Bombay Sapphire is created by perfectly balancing a unique
combination of 10 exotic ingredients from around the world, such as orris root, angelica, cubeb berries, cassia bark and grains of paradise.
What we did for Bombay Sapphire Auckland
The wall-mounted gondola was inspired by the movement of the spirit vapour in the unique Vapour Infusion process. We wanted to design something that customers would be compelled to interact with. We did this by designing a linear copper basket, which sits at the centre of the wall display and holds 10 exotic ingredients engraved with botanical drawings. Customers can touch and smell the ingredients.
