Harrods Store Design
We build department store brands to transform markets.
Visionary. Creativity. Profitability.
A department store famous for interior design,
merchandising and brand identity. Best known
for its zealous customer service.
How to create a department store design that gets people to purchase more products.
With a footprint of 700 sqm allocated for the household electrical department, Harrods enlisted our store design team to help showcase their top-end appliances. Our solution was
to create an environment that reflected the
style and quality of the products on offer.
Location - Knightsbridge, London.
Founded in the year of our Lord in 1834
The Awards: Finalist in the "Department Store Interior of the Year" category at Retail Interiors.
The project had an interesting challenge: Harrods required exclusive ownership of the space, with no visible branding from other retailers.
Spanning 700 square meters, Harrods sought to showcase high-end electrical appliances in a setting that matched the sophistication and quality of the products.
At the same time, we were already collaborating with Comet’s innovations team on developing their latest store format and graphic communication. Our next task was the feasibility, planning, interior design, and graphic treatment of Harrods’ luxurious second-floor homeware appliance space.
We designed and delivered an environment that effectively showcased upscale products for Harrods, while also providing Comet with the opportunity to foster relationships with the world’s most exclusive electrical manufacturers.
