How to create a department store design that gets people to purchase more products.
With a footprint of 700 sqm allocated for the household electrical department, Harrods enlisted our store design team to help showcase their top-end appliances. Our solution was to create an environment that reflected the style and quality of the products on offer.
Location - Knightsbridge, London.

The Awards: Finalist in the “Department Store Interior of the Year” category at the Retail Interiors.
The brief was interesting, in that Harrods had to have sole ownership of the space, with no other retailer branding in evidence.
With a footprint of 700 square metres, Harrods wanted to showcase top-end electrical appliances in an environment that reflected the style and quality of the products on offer.
Comet was already working with our innovations team on the development of Comet’s latest store format and graphic communication suite. We were then appointed by Comet and charged with the feasibility, planning, interior design and graphic treatment of Harrods luxurious second-floor hoewares appliance space.
We designed and delivered an environment, which appropriately merchandised up-market products for Harrods, and gave Comet the opportunity to build relationships with the world’s most exclusive electrical manufacturers.
